REFLECTION

EXPERIENCE
The most challenging part of the semester is that I have a tight timetable for all of the modules. Overall, I've come to the conclusion that my experience with advanced typography may be compared to "getting the final train." In terms of my present attitude, I'm typically glad and delighted since, despite the short timeframe, I enjoyed producing all of the adventures throughout the module, especially  Task 2, key artworks and collateral. I made a set that was completely out of my comfort zone , but I really enjoyed the overall experience and end result. This reminds me of the saying, "If you think you can print your key art on a shirt and wear it, then you are success". And, i had concluded I am "success" somewhat when my friends noticed on the collateral post that shared on Instagram Page, and requested for buying (more than five ppl). This was such an accomplishment and really out of my expectations that they request to buy my "name". This "praise" had make me so exciting till now! :D

OBESERVATIONS
Throughout the semester, I observed  I was stuck in a box especially during the Exercise 1. I keep reminding myself, "No, it's typography" that inhibits me from doing too much illustration or graphic work.  However, following Task 2, it seems like we have greater creative flexibility, including certain graphical components for the collateral design.  Also, I've noticed that the "rationale" is the most difficult for me overall. I always did something without reason, and this is something that I need to get rid of.

FINDINGS
This semester, as we studied the fundamentals of typography, I discovered that it was rather simple for me to develop the task and exercise. W hen constructing and researching the final project, I discovered that there are several laws and regulations controlling certain letters, punctuation, and symbols. I used to believe kerning was good, but the facts changed my mind: it takes a long time to establish and verify the value since various letters require varied kerning values due to their distinct components. And , since I utilised Glyphs 3 for my final project, I discovered that Glyphs has many functions and filters to make the letter consistent, and one base
letter may generate various types of fonts with the features, which I'm anxious to study during the semester break before my trial expires.
